A' Famosa
A Famosa, or "The Famous" in Portuguese, is among the oldest surviving European architectural remains in Asia. Once part of a mighty fortress, this tiny gate (called the Porta de Santiago) is all that is left of a once-mighty fortress.

St. Paul's Church
Built by a Portuguese captain by it name of Duarte Coetho, the chapel was turned by the Dutch into a burial ground for their noble dead and renamed it 'St. Paul's Church from the Portuguese's "Our Lady Of The Hill".

The Stadthuys
The Stadthuys, in the Dutch Square, was built in 1650, it is a typical Dutch building with a clock tower.

Christ Church
Christ Churh was built in 1753 by Dutch to commemorate a century of their rule. It is reputed as the oldest protestant church in Malaysia. The building shows the ingenuity of the Dutch architectural world.

St Francis Xavier's Church
The Church built in 1856, was name after St. Francis Xavier, the great missionary to the East, arrived in Melaka in 1545 and served the sick and the children there. His fame spread far throughout Asia.

Cheng Hoon Teng’s Temple
Cheng Hoon Teng is a premier historical monument that has survived the ravages of time. It remains the finest of Chinese temples in Malaysia, being central to the spiritual aspirations of the Chinese community in historic Melaka.

Sam Po Kong Temple
In 1795, the Chinese Kapitan, Chua Su Cheong initiated the building of a temple at the foot of Bukit China, to ensure that the prayers for those buried in Bukit China would not be interrupted. The name of the temple, Poh San Teng is inscribed in the 1795 tablet of its founding.

Hang Li Poh's Well
Hang Li Poh was a Chinese princess who married the reigning Sultan Mansur Shah in mid-15th century. Upon arrival, the followers of the Chinese princess built a well in 1459 as the main source of water for much of the town. It is said that the well never dried up, not even during times of extreme drought.

Baba Nyonya Heritage House
Baba and Nyonya are Chinese of noble descendants that have adopted much of the Malay culture into theirs. The public can now view the heirloom unique to this heritage at the Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum at Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock.

Kampung Kling’s Mosque
Architecturally intriguing, it is one of the oldest surviving mosques in the country. The Sumatran influence is readily apparent from its three-tiered pyramid-shaped roof, in place of the more conventional dome. The free-standing minaret resembles a pagoda, reflecting an infusion of Oriental influences.

Proclamation of Independence Memorial
The museum is housed in a 1912 British villa with Mogul-styled domes. Inside the museum are manuscripts, video tapes, films and slides depicting events leading to Malaysia's Independence in 1957.

Maritime Museum
The Museum is constructed after 'Flor De La Mar', the Portuguese ship that sand off the coast of Melaka on its way to Portugal. With its hull laden with invaluable treasures seized from Melaka, the ship was doomed from existence had it not for the efforts to revive its symbolic significance to Melaka's heritage.

Menara Taming Sari
The 110 metre viewing tower was designed based on the legendary Taming Sari Keris, is the first tower in the country to have a fully revolving structure. The air-conditioned viewing cabin will be able to accommodate 66 people at one time.
